Despite its hefty price tag, I have heard great things about its quality and durability.Hot take: I really dislike nato straps. They’re horrifically ugly, don’t look all that comfortable, and seem to cause the problem everyone thinks they’re solving. I should preface by saying that everyone has their own tastes and that’s absolutely okay. I don’t want to put anyone down for what they enjoy. I'm in the camp with those who said a NATO or nylon strap like a zulu us fine on a sports watch or tool watch (sports chrono, diver, field watch, flieger, and such), but is very out of place on a dressier watch. I think what makes a watch a good fit for the NATO strap is that it tends to be 38mm to 40mm, less than 10mm thick and of a simple design. Most Hamilton watches look good with a NATO strap. Inexpensive Citizen, Timex, really too many to name, also. This Timex comes with a leather strap, but would not look out of place with a NATO strap.

Let's post some examples of watches that look hilariously bad on NATO. I cringe every time I see a rolex datejust on NATO posted online. The strap of a watch may not be as important as the timepiece itself, but nevertheless is important. Different timepieces fit with different straps. I just think that a NATO on a really nice watch kind of ruins it. Nice watches like Rolex aren't just about functionality, they are also meant to look nice, and NATOs just ruin them. My nato strap saved my watch twice prevent from hitting the ground and could end worse. The nato strap is cheaper, durable and very comfortable to wear and of course it can save your watch anytime. If you don't like nato strap because it is long and way it has bend in the loop.

Love single straps, hate natos. As the topic title says. Single straps are incredibly useful and versatile to interchange on a watch head but I can't stand nato (and zulu) straps. Like many people, it's the damn bulky side-tuck that grinds my gears. On thicker watches, the double strap layer also isn't great.

I've tried quite a few straps and lot of the recommended ones on reddit and other forums and I always feel this weird sensation like my wrist is being squeezed from the sides and it bothers me.
